NOPEC"S price is considerably higher this month than the DEO SSO price. The reason is because the DEO SSO price is a monthy, variable price, and NOPEC's is a fixed price and the price in December was very low when DEO's SSO pricewas set for this month. If a resident wishes to cancel his or her NOPEC/Dominion gas contract, he or she may do so by calling the Dominion Retail toll-free number1-800-362-7557. Please note that a NOPEC customer who cancels may not re-enroll in the NOPEC/Dominion Retail program through March, 2008, and may not be switched back to the utility for one or two more billing cycles. NOPEC believes that in the long term, fixed price program offered in their contract are beneficial to the customer, even though it may cost a consumer more in an any one particulare month.
